May you find peace and happiness
Growing up in Sweden, surrounded by nature and the sea, I was always drawn to the mysteries of the woods and the beauty of sunsets. It took many years for me to realize that my true journey lay within. After enduring dark times as a teenager, feeling lost and weary, I experienced what I refer to as a psychological death, prompting a quest for meaning and relief from suffering.
A decade ago, I encountered Buddhism and developed an interest in meditation, captivated by its philosophy and lifestyle. However, I soon faced the challenge of discomfort while sitting on the floor for long periods. Seeking more, I discovered yoga, which not only allowed me to sit comfortably for as long as I wished but also transformed my life in ways I couldn't have anticipated.
At 20, feeling rebellious, I made the bold decision to quit my job and travel to India. I arrived in Anjuna, Goa, and with a friend, we journeyed through villages like Hampi and Pushkar, exploring the vibrant jungles, bustling cities, and vast deserts. This journey was life-altering; experiencing Asia for the first time is unlike anything else.
Although I didn't find a Guru or settle in an ashram, I fell in love with the spiritual essence that thrives in India and across Asia, and I have returned time and again to seek its treasures.
To the monasteries of Chom Thong in Northern Thailand, Ashrams in Rishikesh and my beloved sanctuary, Sivananda Dhanwantari ashram in Kerala.
I live in the Scandinavian mountains of Funäsdalen where I work as a Massage therapist and yoga teacher. Doing my best to spread the message of inner transformation and Love.
